The invention relates to a method for handling a mixture of liquor and soap that is obtained in connection with pulp digestion. In the method according to the invention, the pressure and liquid level in a tank is measured, where after relative portions of liquor and soap can be calculated as a function of the measured pressure and the measured level. The invention also relates to a plant for handling a mixture of soap and liquor, and a plant for conversion of fibre material to form pulp.
