<p>The invention relates to an electric installation for the automatic water shut-off when there is a risk of flood, in domestic or industrial installations. The claimed installation is controlled by a humidity transducer (1) made of two insulated wires (2) with cut-off and uninsulated ends, protected by an elastic tube (3), which are passed through a board of insulating material (4) for maintaing the wires (2) in a fixed position, by means of an insulating ring (5), the board of insulating material (4) being secured by a profiled rubber seal (6) to the overflow (7) of a tank (8), the two wires (2) being serially connected with the secondary of a low voltage transformer (9) with a voltage of 12 V in the secondary, and with the coil of a relay (10) having a normally open contact (11) serially connected with the coil of an electrically-operated valve (12) mounted in the water circuit (13).</p> |
