<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press-fit terminal capable of reducing the size and heightening the stability of electric contact without reducing the holding force of the terminal, and to provide a circuit board module using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The press-fit terminal has a pair of elastic contact parts 3, 3 having a bending space 6 allowing deformation in between, swelling outward, which are to be inserted into through holes of the circuit board and electrically contact with a conductor part at the inner face of the through hole. Contact parts 7, induce elastic deformation to the other direction different from the one direction while restricting elastic deformation to one direction for narrowing the bending space 6 by mutually approaching each other, are formed at each inner face of the pair of elastic contact parts 3, 3.
