PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of high tack strength between elastic sealing members by avoiding strong jointing of the elastic sealing member provided on one of adjacent seal plates to the elastic sealing member provided on another seal plate when the seal plates are stacked. SOLUTION: In this brake hydraulic pressure controller for an automobile, a cylinder body 11 having a first hydraulic pressure circuit is jointed and fixed on a valve body 12 having a second hydraulic pressure circuit through the seal plate 20 having communication passages P1 to P10 for communicating both of the hydraulic pressure circuits. The seal plate 20 includes a plate body 21 having an opening part formed by a plate with a prescribed thickness and used as the communication passages P1 to P10, and the elastic seal members 22a to 22j mounted on the circumferential edge of the opening part of the plate body 21 and having the plate thickness greater than that of the plate body 21, respectively.
