An apparatus for alleviating a nonlinear temperature effect of arrayed waveguide gratings, comprising an integrated optical circuit base (2) for an arrayed waveguide grating chip (1) and a driver (3). The integrated optical circuit base (2) comprises a first region (201), a second region (203) and a hinge (202) connecting the first region (201) to the second region (203). The hinge (202) enables the first region (201) and the second region (203) to rotate and/or translate relative to each other. The driver (3) is formed by combining two or more drive rods (301, 302, 303, 304, 305). A thermal expansion coefficient of the drive rods (301, 302, 303, 304, 305) is different from that of the integrated optical circuit base (2). The first region (201) and the second region (203) are driven by different drive rods (301, 302, 303, 304, 305) to rotate and/or translate relative to each other in different temperature intervals, so that the first region (201) and the second region (203) can have a nonlinear displacement along with the temperature variation, thereby driving two segments of an arrayed waveguide grating chip (1) to move relative to each other, and accurately compensating a drift quantity of a central wavelength in different temperature intervals. |
