PURPOSE:To measure accurately a force and moments applied to an object placed on a table by forming a quadrilateral with upper links and lower links and measuring values of moments generated in lower links. CONSTITUTION:Two upper links 4 and 5 are connected pivotally in each of three corners of a regular triangle-shaped table 1 so that they can be rotated in three directions. Lower links 6 and 7 are connected pivotally to upper links 4 and 5, and a quadrilateral is formed with these links. Three link fixing plates 8, 8, and 8 are supported rotatably around a horizontal axis F by base supporting tools 9, 9, and 9 so that these plates form a regular triangle. The force and moments applied to the table 1 are obtained on a basis of values of moments generated in lower links 6 and 7. |
