SUPPORTED LACTIC ACID BACTERIA CULTURES

The invention is concerned with a process for the production of lactic acid bacteria cultures, in which a specific expanded, cereal adsorbent is used as growth medium. The supported lactic acid bacteria are also part of the invention. The concentrate obtained in the above mentioned process can be used to obtain a composition containing flavour and/or aroma that is very useful in baking operations.
