The device has a simple support structure for centring and supporting the rotating elements. The electric fan includes a support armature (2) associated with an electric motor (4) which is designed to carry a helical fan (5). The support armature includes an element (6) for centring and fixing one end of the motor block (7) which carries permanent magnets (9). The other end comprises a plate (9) provided with a central tubular sleeve (10) extending into the block. This is intended to receive the motor shaft (11) for rotation. One end of the motor shaft carries a collector (12) associated with the supply brushes (13). The intermediate portion includes a centring and fixing element for the armature (15) of the motor, facing the permanent magnets. The other end comprises the centring and support for the helical fan (5).
