PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain excellent cooling action for superior cutting performance and tool life even when cutting machining is conducted by supplying air from two fluid delivery holes in an end mill with four unequal end cutting edges. SOLUTION: This end mill is provided with a pair of fluid supply holes 20 so that they may be open to the relief of a pair of long end cutting edges 24 and a connecting groove 30 so that it may connect the tip openings 20b of the fluid supply holes 20 with the intersecting part of both gashes 22, 26. The fluid discharged from the tip openings 20b flows, with the rotation of the end mill 10, through a clearance between the relief (front end openings 20b) and a work to the side of a second gash 26, thereby performing supply to a short end cutting edges 28. The fluid flows from the second gash 26 through the intersecting part with the first gash 22 to the side of the first gash 22, or to the side of the first gash 22 directly from the connecting groove 30, thus performing flowed and supplied to the long end cutting edges 24.
