PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seismic isolator having excellent maintainability without requiring a large space for installation area. SOLUTION: A seismic isolator 1 installed between a column 16 and a beam 17 is respectively has a construction of intermediate steel plates 11 and rubber plates 12 laminated alternately and vulcanized and adhered with the center line aligned between a circular upper flange 10a and a lower flange 10b, then a circular through hole 15 is formed in the center portion of the rubber plate 12 and three bearing steel plates 13 are inserted inside the through hole 15.
