PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in which a conventional method does not include a clear criterion as to whether rotation processing is to be applied to color information of the color space sYCC because the color information requires proper rotation processing. SOLUTION: A facsimile machine carrying out communication of JPEG information of the color space sYCC, includes: a means of informing of presence/absence of a reception function of the JPEG information of the color space sYCC in a preceding step; and a means of designating transmission of the JPEG information of the color space sYCC from a transmitter facsimile machine to a receiver facsimile machine. When the receiver facsimile machine receives the JPEG header information of the color space sYCC, the receiver facsimile machine changes print processing start timing at shift to an image information reception operation depending on the number of pixels in the main scanning direction denoted by the parameter included in the JPEG header and the number of pixels in the subscanning direction denoted by the Y parameter.
