PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dynamic and configurable user interface that presents a user with informational cues identifying desired available programs and types of information, considering a small size of a mobile device display.SOLUTION: A method for generating a mobile device's user interface comprises: a step 205 of receiving, via the mobile device, input from a user of the mobile device, the input being related to a property for presenting dynamic context-dependent informational cues; a step 210 of determining a context; a step 215 of identifying context-associated informational cues associated with the context; and a step 220 of presenting, via the mobile device, according to the received user input, an identified subset of the context-associated informational cues predominant over any presentation of other informational cues.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
