The invention relates to an arrangement for mounting an internal trim (5) of a motor vehicle body work element near a rear lateral panel (2) of the vehicle including a quarterlight (1), said internal trim being fixed adjacent to said rear lateral panel and forming a circumferential surface (52) around said quarterlight, said circumferential surface comprising an edging region (53) in line with an interior surface (11) of said quarterlight and ending in an edge face (54) that comes close to said quarterlight delimiting therewith a clearance (J). According to the invention, said internal trim comprises an elastically deformable connecting element (60) arranged near said edge face and having a flexible lip (61) that comes to press against said interior surface of said quarterlight by means of which the clearance to said quarterlight is blanked off. |
