摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an encoding method and device of a sound signal, which are capable of encoding a sound signal played on the basis of a musical score, faithfully to the musical score by removing an influence of harmonics from the sound signal as much as possible.SOLUTION: A harmonic variable h is set to 2 to start processing from the second harmonic (S21). If n-12 logh being a note number corresponding to an h-th harmonic is equal to or larger than 0 (S22), a correlation value between an intensity corresponding to a note number n and an intensity corresponding to a note number (n-12 logh) corresponding to one-h-th frequency is calculated (S23). This processing is repeated up to an H-th harmonic to obtain a sum total V of intensities of harmonics from the second harmonic to the H-th harmonic (S22 to S25). The sum total V is multiplied by a correction value γ, and the multiplication result is subtracted from the intensity corresponding to the note number n, whereby H-th harmonic components are removed from the second harmonic (S26).
