<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size of a battery and to reduce a copper loss by lowering a current by using a step-up/step-down chopper in a hybrid system having a motor generator and to perform the space-saving, weight reducing, and reduction of the manufacturing cost of a body applied by this hybrid system. <P>SOLUTION: When a motor generator 40 is operated as a motor, a VVVF inverter converter 42 is operated as an inverter. Feeding power from the battery 14 is stepped up by the step-up/step-down chopper 44, and supplied to the motor generator 40. Moreover, when the motor generator 40 is operated as a generator, the VVVF inverter converter 42 is operated as a converter, the generated power by the motor generator 40 is stepped down by the step-up/step-down chopper 44, and stored in the battery 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
