Disclosed is portable earth well measurement apparatus having transducers to monitor in-bore well conditions such as pressures and temperature s and well site conditions such as temperatures, fluid leaks and the like including me ans for storing sample readings at selectable time intervals. When installed at a well s ite, connection to a communications network allows communication with a central site to exchange real time and stored measurement data with the central site. The well measurement apparatus provides access security and is responsive to command and control instructions received from the central site to change measurement sampli ng rates and parameters. The well measurement apparatus has configurable measurement thresholds and initiates alarm condition call out or reporting to th e central site when measurement thresholds are exceeded.
