1. A method for producing a modified oocyte, comprising:
a. obtaining a nuclear genome from a first oocyte, wherein the nuclear genome has not yet reached the mature metaphase II stage, or is an immature metaphase II nuclear genome, or is a metaphase II nuclear genome that has been treated to induce partial spindle depolymerization, b. removing the nuclear genome from a second oocyte to form an enucleated second oocyte, and c. introducing the nuclear genome from the first oocyte into the enucleated second oocyte to form a modified oocyte. |
