The invention relates to a light device for a vehicle, comprising: a light source comprising sub-millimetre electroluminescent rods, all of said rods being divided into multiple different lighting zones (1 to 3), at least one lighting zone being arranged such as to emit a colour different from that emitted by at least one other lighting zone; and at least one lens which can receive the light rays emitted by the lighting zones and deflect said rays away from the light device, the light source and the lens being arranged such as to form a light beam and such that multiple different colours can be imparted to this light beam.
