The invention relates to a device (1) for retrieving a flight recorder (3), containing at least one recording device, which is carried aboard an airplane, in the form of a flight data recorder and/or a voice recorder that records relevant flight and airplane parameters during a flight with a time axis. The device (1) according to the invention is characterized in that the device comprises a floatable capsule (2) which surrounds the flight recorder (3). At least one means (4) is provided for separating the capsule (2) from the airplane, and the device (1) has a sensor system for controlling the at least one means (4) for separating the capsule (2), said sensor system being designed to analyze one or more parameters generated in the event of a plane crash. |
