The invention relates to a dispensing device (2, 3) for metered release of chemical substances stored in packs (24, 25) to a dishwasher (4) or washing machine comprising a dispenser logic unit (22, 23) which has a control algorithm (22a, 23a) for metering the chemical substance (24b, 25b). The control algorithm (22a, 23a) meters the release of the chemical substance (24b, 25b) such that the actual substance conductance of the mixture of the released chemical substance and water in the dishwasher (4) or washing machine is approximated to a desired substance conductance. The control algorithm (22a, 23a) adapts the desired substance conductance by including as control parameters a standard substance conductance, a standard water conductance for water to be delivered, an actual water conductance of the delivered water, a standard water hardness for water to be delivered, an actual water hardness of the delivered water, a compensation factor for differences between the standard water hardness and the actual water hardness, and optionally an adjustable correction factor. Optionally the dispenser logic unit (22, 23) reads said data by means of a RFID reader (2 h, 3 h) from a RFID tag (24c, 25c) on the pack. |
