PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retrograde display mechanism in which displacement of display is minimized and a calendar is surely initialized, and a timepiece including the same.SOLUTION: A retrograde display mechanism 1 of a timepiece 7 includes a retrograde display mechanism main body, a fan-shaped wheel jumper 50, restriction removing means 27, and an accelerating projection 80. The retrograde display mechanism main body includes: a calendar driving wheel 70 including a calendar driving pawl 72 for advancing a calendar date and rotated once in a unit time; a calendar date transmission wheel 20 including a calendar date transmission gear 24 rotated by one tooth in the unit time and a driving cam 30; a fan-shaped operation lever 60 including a cam follower 61, a fan-shaped wheel operation gear 64, and a calendar date initialization acceleration object projection 67 receiving a force during initialization of the calendar date; and a fan-shaped wheel 40 including a fan-shaped gear 41 rotated by swinging of the lever 60 and a fan-shaped wheel display part 42, in which the fan-shaped wheel returns to an initial position at each time when passing the end of a month. The fan-shaped wheel jumper 50 jumps the gear 41. When the calendar is returned to the last state to an initial state, the restriction removing means 27 removes restrictions of the jumper 50 and the accelerating projection 80 strikes against the acceleration object projection 67. |
