A method for adjusting a water heater set-up based on numbers, and a water heater, said method comprising: recording a water heater set-up preset by a user (S101); recording the matching relationship between the water heater set-up and a specific number (S102); reading number information inputted by a user (S103); detecting whether a water heater set-up matching said number information exists (S104); if not, then maintaining the state (S105); and if so, changing the current set-up to the water heater set-up matching the number (S106). By means of combining a water heater set-up with an individual identifier (number), the current water heater set-up is changed between different users on the basis of an individual identifier (number), in order to implement rapid switching of water heater set-up between different users. |
