PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier and a two-component developer capable of developing a stable amount of toner and providing uniform images with excellent color reproducibility over a long period of time without being affected by a history of toner consumption in the last image formed; and an image forming method using the same.SOLUTION: In a carrier for developing an electrostatic latent image having a coating layer including at least a binder resin and fine particles on a carrier core material, the core material is subjected to surface oxidation treatment, and the carrier has a ratio of surface exposure area of the core material of 0.1 to 5.0%. |
