An information reminder method for use when conveniently opening a specific application based on a fingerprint, and a mobile terminal, the method comprising: recording a fingerprint preset by the user to match a specific application (S101); when the user inputs the fingerprint, detecting whether there is a specific application matching the fingerprint (S102); if so, then opening the specific application and pushing patent information (S103), and if not, maintaining the original state (S104). The present method enables a user to quickly and conveniently open a required application amongst numerous applications by means of defining an opening method for commonly used applications, and simultaneously protects the legal interests of the technical innovator. |
