1. A method of providing a patient with an implanted penile prosthetic adapted to provide improved flow of blood to a glans penis, the method comprising:
making an incision in the patient and exposing a corpora cavernosum of a penis; dilating a first portion of tissue in the corpora cavernosum and creating a first space and leaving a segment of vascularized tissue in the corpora cavernosum un-dilated and undisturbed; introducing a penile prosthesis into the first space in the corpora cavernosum, where the penile prosthesis includes a body having a channel formed in an exterior surface of the body; and engaging the channel formed in the exterior surface of the body with the segment of vascularized tissue. |
