The present invention provides: a wing-type van body opening/closing method which allows an initial load to be minimized when an upper wing is opened and closed and which allows the manual opening and closing thereof; and a van body which includes a device therefor. A gas shock absorber (7) is provided between the end of an upper wing (2) and a van body (1) which pivotally supports the upper wing (2) such that the upper wing (2) is turnable. Hence, when the upper wing (2) is pivoted upward, the gas shock absorber (7) acts so as to assist the upward pivoting of the upper wing (2). |
