This amplifier may be provided with: a chamber that includes a pair of discharge electrodes facing each other in the first direction, a laser excitable medium, an input window through which seed light is inputted, and an output window through which amplified laser light is outputted in the second direction intersecting the first direction; and a first mirror and a second mirror, which include reflecting regions, respectively, and face each other in the third direction intersecting the first direction such that the pair of discharge electrodes are sandwiched between the first mirror and the second mirror. There may be no gap or a plus gap between a projection image of a reflecting region of the first mirror, said projection image being in the second direction, and a projection image of a reflecting region of the second mirror, said projection image being in the second direction. |
