PURPOSE:To accurately align the abutting position of a thin layer blade against a developing roller without increasing the cost. CONSTITUTION:A planar blade holder 41 is provided along the axial direction of the developing roller 42. The wide but short thin layer blade 45 is disposed over the blade holder 41 and its tip comes into contact with the outer periphery of the developing roller 42 and its base is placed on the blade holder 41. Adjustment rollers 55 are abutted on each edge of the blade holder 41 with the base held therebetween. The adjustment rollers 55 are rotated by a motor 58. That motor 58 is driven by an outside operation switch 61. Then, the outside operation switch 61 is properly operated by observing the image density of a sheet S after printing, the abutting position of the developing roller 42 is adjusted by moving the thin layer blade 45 back forth by having the adjustment rollers 55 rotated by driving the motor 58. |
