PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an influence on the preservation of a moving image if there is a problem in the surrounding environment.SOLUTION: On detecting the disconnection of a communication condition with external equipment such as a remote controller 2, a control unit 17 controls an imaging unit 10 to start imaging operation to record the imaged moving image temporarily from a predetermined address of an external storage medium 16. Then, if communication with the external equipment such as the remote controller 2 is resumed during imaging the moving image, the control unit 17 stops the moving image recording, and when preservation is instructed by an external operation from the external equipment such as the remote controller 2, files and records the moving image, temporarily recorded in the external storage medium 16, into the external storage medium 16. The control unit 17 then updates a recording start address, so as not to use the storage area of the filed moving image, as a moving image preservation buffer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
