Provided are a host device which reduces a chip area and power consumption, a host system having the same, and a link layer configuration method of supporting the same. According to the present invention, the host system comprises: a first storage device; a second storage device; and the host device to communicate with the first and second storage devices by the same communication protocol. The host device includes an interconnection layer which allocates physical ports to connect the first and second storage devices to the corresponding transactions to simultaneously process the transactions on the first and second devices.
