PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a VDP from being loaded unnecessarily, by skipping the interpretation/execution of a command which is meaningless as a result, while a plurality of commands are buffered in generating a picture for performances of a game machine.SOLUTION: A sub board includes: a command generator which generates a predetermined command for generating the picture of a display device and an overwrite flag predetermined for each command; a command buffer which stores commands and overwrite flags generated by the command generator in order; and a display device controller which controls the display device by reading commands from the command buffer and executing them. The last command is specified from among those whose overwrite flags are ON, and then commands before the last command thus specified are skipped. |
