PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coagulation capability evaluation method by accurately measuring the degree of blockage of a membrane due to unused coagulant components, when coagulation treated water is filtrated with a filtration membrane for evaluation.SOLUTION: A coagulant is added to water to be treated and the coagulation treated water obtained by removing at least a part of aggregates is supplied to a membrane separation device. A coagulation capability evaluation method evaluates the coagulation capability of the coagulant at the time of the supply. The coagulant is an Al-based and/or Fe-based coagulant. The coagulation treated water is filtrated with a filtration membrane for evaluation made of a hydrophilic material with at least a surface layer of cellulose acetate. Through evaluation of the degree of blockage of the filtration membrane for evaluation, the coagulation capability of the coagulant is evaluated. |
