PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microorganism immobilization method by which microorganisms are immobilized in a short time by a new and simple construction without using paraformaldehyde, the microorganisms can be safely immobilized without wearing disposable gloves and protective glasses and the cost of waste liquid treatment can be cut because treatment of waste liquid including paraformaldehyde used for immobilizing microorganisms in conventional methods is no longer necessary.SOLUTION: A microorganism immobilization method includes a process (immobilization process: S110) in which a solvent including microorganisms is heated at 60°C or higher for 15 s or more. In this way, a microorganism detection method such as a FISH method which needs immobilization of microorganisms can be speeded up. |
