PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent breakage and compression leakage on a step difference part between scroll laps of a stationary scroll member and a turning scroll member.SOLUTION: An outer circumferential step 211out, an intermediate step 211mid and an inner circumferential step 211in are formed on a base surface 211a of a stationary scroll member 21(211) in such a manner that the height increases in a stepwise manner toward an inner circumferential side from an outer circumferential side along a scroll direction of a stationary scroll lap. An outer circumferential side interval 232out, an intermediate interval 232mid and an inner circumferential side interval 232in are formed in a stepwise manner, on a top edge surface 232a of a turning scroll member 23(232), in accordance with the heights of the outer circumferential step 211out, the intermediate step 211mid and the inner circumferential step 211in which face one another. When a chip gap between the outer circumferential step 211out and the outer circumferential side interval 232out is δout, a chip gap between the intermediate step 211mid and the intermediate interval 232mid is δmid and a chip gap between the inner circumferential step 211in and the inner circumferential side interval 232in is δin, the chip gaps δout, δmid, δin are set so as to be δmid≤δout<δin. |
