PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface-treated aluminum alloy sheet keeping excellent defatting nature, chemical treatment nature and adhesiveness even for a long period from manufacture of the aluminum alloy sheet itself to manufacture of an automobile panel or the like, and to provide a manufacturing method thereof.SOLUTION: A surface-treated aluminum alloy sheet 10 comprises a substrate 1 made of an aluminum alloy containing magnesium, an oxide film 2 formed on the surface of the substrate 1, and a zirconium-containing surface treatment film 3 formed on the surface of the oxide film 2, and is subjected to a chemical treatment when used. The oxide film 2 has a film thickness of 1-30 nm. The surface treatment film 3 is free of a halogen and phosphorus and its coating weight is 0.01-100 mg/mon the oxide film 2 in terms of zirconium dioxide. |
