PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor that reduces leakage flux with a simple configuration and assembly.SOLUTION: A rotor 11 includes first rotor cores 21 and second rotor cores 22, annular magnets, first interpole magnets 26 and second interpole magnets 27, and a pair of fitting members 28 and 29. On respective outer edges of first core bases 21a and second core bases 22a thereof, the first rotor cores 21 and the second rotor cores 22 respectively have a plurality of first claw-like magnetic poles 21b, and a plurality of second claw-like magnetic poles 22b, that are formed so as to protrude radially outward and extend axially. The annular magnets are arranged axially between the first core bases 21a and the second core bases 22a, and allow the first claw-like magnetic poles 21b and the second claw-like magnetic poles 22b to function as first and second magnetic poles, respectively. The first interpole magnets 26 and the second interpole magnets 27 are arranged circumferentially between the first claw-like magnetic poles 21b and the second claw-like magnetic poles 22b. The fitting members 28 and 29 are made up of non-magnetic material, and are fitted onto two axial ends of the first rotor cores 21 and the second rotor cores 22 as assembled together. The fitting members 28 and 29 have respective engaging pieces 28b and 29b that are radially engaged with the first interpole magnets 26 and the second interpole magnets 27 so as to restrict radially outward movement thereof. |
