The invention relates to a measuring device (1) for a machine tool, wherein the measuring device (1) comprises a a detection device (4) and at least two measuring sensors (2, 3). The detection device (4) and the measuring sensors (2, 3) are configured for a wireless, digital transmission of messages (6, 12, 17) from each of the measuring sensors (2, 3) to the detection device (4). An essential feature of the measuring device (1) is that each of the measuring sensors (2, 3) comprises a control unit configured for controlling temporal sequences for transmitting messages (6, 12, 17), and furthermore, that in each of the measuring sensors (2, 3), a transfer process having a transmit sequence is defined for at least one message (6, 12, 17) comprising several transmission operations (32, 33, 34, 35) for a repeated sending of the message (6, 12, 17). Between two each of the transmission operations (32, 33, 34, 35) of a transmit sequence, a waiting period (30, 31) is specified, during which the respective measuring sensor (2, 3) does not transmit, and which is longer than a transmission period of a transmission operation (32, 33, 34, 35) of one of the measuring sensors (2, 3) during a transmission of a message (6, 12, 17), and that the waiting period in each measuring sensor (2, 3) is different from the waiting periods of the remaining measuring sensors (2, 3). |
