PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of detecting an irregular connected state of a communication cable so as to effectively prevent so called illegal communication.SOLUTION: A game machine comprises a connection confirmation line connected to an optical connector 630 (730) together with an optical fiber cable. The connection confirmation line is charged by applied voltage from the optical connector (730). The optical connector 630 comprises a switch device 632 allowing signal input to an optical communication device 631. The switch device 632 allows signal input to the optical communication device 631 when the connection confirmation line is connected to the optical connector 630 (730). On the other hand, the switch device 632 prohibits signal input to the optical communication device 631 in a case where the connection confirmation line is not connected to the optical connector 630 (730) in a normal state. The optical connector 630 stops transmission of signal by prohibiting signal input to the switch device 632. |
