PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To impregnate a hollow part in a protective sleeve with varnish even when a varnish treatment is carried out by means of a drip-impregnation process.SOLUTION: A protective sleeve 3 includes: a braided sleeve 7 which is formed by alternately braiding fiber bundles, which are bundles of fiber yarns, into a tubular shape; and resin deposited on a surface of the fiber bundles. The braided sleeve 7 is braided in such a manner that a gap is disposed between fiber bundles adjacent to each other. The braided sleeve 7 is formed into a tubular shape by a braider so that the fiber bundle is disposed diagonally with respect to the longitudinal direction of the braided sleeve 7. The resin prevents loosening and fraying of an end at the time of processing (cutting) of the protective sleeve 3, and improves passing properties of a lead wire. The resin is disposed to secure a gap between the fiber bundles. |
