The present invention relates to a super absorbent resin, for absorbing blood or high viscosity liquid, and a method for preparing same and, more particularly, to a super absorbent resin having excellent physical properties for blood or high-viscosity liquid by means of adding to a super absorbent resin a polycarbonic acid-based copolymer and water-soluble salts comprising polyvalent cations and by means of surface treatment.
