<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain sufficient densities on both the projecting parts and recessed parts of a recording sheet surface even when images whose image area ratios are low are continuously output in a low temperature and low humidity environment and to suppress occurrence of a white spot. <P>SOLUTION: As a secondary transfer bias, one with a waveform as described below is used. That is, a first period waveform comprises: a first waveform part Ps1 that continuously moves toner particles in a normal direction within a secondary transfer nip toward a sheet from a belt, and a second waveform part Ps2 that appears in a shorter time than the first waveform part Ps1. The second waveform part Ps2 comprises: a first reverse direction part for moving toner particles in a reverse direction; a first normal direction part for moving toner particles in the normal direction; and a second reverse direction part for moving toner particles in the reverse direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
