A head-up display 10 is provided with: a projection device 11 having a projection surface 15a for projecting an image; a combiner 12, which is a display member that has a display surface 12a for display of an image projected from the projection device 11 and allows an observer to observe a virtual image, and wherein a display surface 12a is disposed so as to be relatively inclined to the projection surface 15a of the projection device 11; and a lenticular lens sheet 18 having peak eccentric cylindrical lenses 25, a plurality of which are arranged and disposed along a direction of inclination inclined to the display surface 12a and for which peaks 25a are eccentrically located such that the brightness peak of projected light is shifted to the side where the light path lengths for the projected light from the projection surface 15a to the display surface 12a are relatively longer with respect to the center position in the direction of inclination. |
