PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a beam processing apparatus, an apparatus for attenuating and switching a beam, and an optical wavelength selective switch system.SOLUTION: The beam processing apparatus includes a polymer polarization grating and a quarter-wave plate array. A polarization state of a beam can be divided and adjusted by using the polymer polarization grating and the quarter-wave plate array. The apparatus for attenuating and switching a beam includes a switchable polarization grating and an optical path angle adjusting device, or includes a half-wave liquid crystal plate, a quarter-wave plate, a polymer polarization grating, and an optical path angle adjusting device. The optical wavelength selective switch system includes the beam processing apparatus and the apparatus for attenuating and switching a beam, the structure thereof is relatively simple, and the assembly thereof is also relatively easy. Manufacturing technology of the polymer polarization grating, the quarter-wave plate and the switchable polarization grating is relatively simple. Therefore, the present invention can simplify the manufacturing technology, can reduce costs, and can improve performance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1A |
