PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device and a steering-hold support control device capable of excellently maintaining steering feeling during turning and steering-hold.SOLUTION: An electric power steering device 11 performs drive control of an assist motor 35 according to steering force acting on a steering wheel 13 so as to apply steering auxiliary force to a steering system of a vehicle. The electric power steering device 11 includes: a yaw rate sensor 55 for acquiring a measured yaw rate of the vehicle; a vehicle speed sensor 53 for detecting the speed of the vehicle; a steering angle sensor 26 for detecting a steering angle of the steering wheel 13; and a torque estimation device 77 for estimating self-aligning torque on the basis of a smaller absolute value of the measured yaw rate or a rudder standard yaw rate and the speed of the vehicle and correcting the steering auxiliary force on the basis of the estimated self-aligning torque.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
