PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device capable of improving the display performance and manufacturing method of image display device.SOLUTION: An image display device 100 includes: a base panel 1; plural light-emitting elements 2 mounted on the base panel 1; plural louvers 5 for shutting-off external light from coming into the plural light-emitting elements 2; plural bosses 8 which are formed on the base panel 1 for fastening the louvers 5; and a filler material 4 which is filled around the plural light-emitting elements 2 not to generate any gap between the base panel 1 and the louver 5.
