PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming a highly densified LDH dense film on a surface of a porous base material without unevenness uniformly.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for forming layered double hydroxide dense film on a surface of a porous base material, where the layered double hydroxide dense film consists of layered double hydroxide represented by the general formula:MM(OH)AmHO, where Mis bivalent cation, Mis trivalent cation, Ais n valent anion, n is an integer of 1 or more and x is 0.1 to 0.4, including (a) a process for preparing the porous base material, (b) a process for treating the porous base material with a solution containing an anionic surfactant and (c) a process for conducting a hydrothermal treatment on the porous base material in a raw material solution containing constituent elements of the layered double hydroxide to form the layered double hydroxide dense film on the surface of the porous base material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
