PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat lock device that can prevent unintentional release operation at the time of sudden braking of a vehicle and at the time of input of impact and the like.SOLUTION: A seat lock device 10, which is mounted on a front wall 24 of a rear parcel shelf 20 forming an upper wall of a trunk room 16 at a rear part of a vehicle 12 and engages with a striker 38 provided on a backside of a rear seat 18 arranged in front of the trunk room 16 so as to hold the rear seat 18 in a standing posture; and performs releasing operation of a releasing operation member 46 arranged in the trunk room 16 so as to release a state of engagement of the device with the striker 38, comprises an engagement part 40c which engages with a cross member 28 that extends across a vehicle width direction behind the front wall 24 of the rear parcel shelf 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
