PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer capable of properly forming a printed matter without changing the printing speed when the voltage of battery is lowered.SOLUTION: A on-dot number being a number of a plurality of heater elements simultaneously energized by a thermal head control circuit is specified on a condition that a CPU has determined that an output detection voltage of the battery becomes less than a first threshold value. Energization by a predetermined first energization time is performed to the plurality of heat elements at a conveyance timing when it is determined that the on-dot number at a printing timing of each specified printing line is less than a predetermined on-dot threshold value, and energization by a second energization time shorter than the first energization time is performed to the plurality of heat elements at a printing timing when it is determined that the on-dot number is equal to or more than a second threshold value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
