The purpose of the present invention is to provide a method for washing an air conditioner, which is capable of maintaining cleanliness by washing both outer and inner parts of an air conditioner. To this end, the method for washing an air conditioner, comprises: a step of washing and drying a grill after spraying a cleaning agent on the grill by disassembling the grill and a filter from the air conditioner; a step of washing and drying the disassembled filter after spraying the cleaning agent on the filter; a step of spraying a mold inhibitor and a deodorizing agent on the dried filter; a step of disassembling a panel from the air conditioner after separating a wire and a connector that are connected to the panel; a step of washing and drying the disassembled panel after spraying the cleaning agent on the panel; a step of spraying the mold inhibitor on the dried panel; a step of washing and drying a drain pan after spraying the cleaning agent on the drain pan by disassembling a PCB and the drain pan from the air conditioner; a step of spraying the mold inhibitor on the dried drain pan; a step of washing and drying a blowing fan after spraying the cleaning agent on the blowing fan by disassembling the blowing fan from the air conditioner; a step of positioning a washing stand on a lower part of the air conditioner by installing the washing stand on a ceiling; a step of washing and drying a heat exchanger inside the air conditioner after spraying the cleaning agent on the heat exchanger; a step of drying the heat exchanger after spraying a germicidal agent and the deodorizing agent on the dried heat exchanger; a step of spraying a coating agent and the mold inhibitor on the dried heat exchanger; and a step of removing foreign materials from the inside of a drainage pump and the air conditioner.
