The invention relates to an apparatus (10) for sharpening scraping edges (2) of a scraper roller (1), said apparatus comprising a tool (6) for processing said scraping edges (2) of the scraper roller (1), a computer processing arrangement (11) for processing a model representation (MR1-MRn) of said scraper roller (1), wherein said apparatus (10) is configured to operate said tool (6) based on said computer processing arrangement so as to sharpen preformed scraping edges (2) of a scraper roller (1) arranged to be processed by said apparatus (10). The invention moreover relates to a method of sharpening preformed scraping edges on a scraper roller, and use of a diamond grinding tool for sharpening scraping edges of a scraper roller, which scraper roller is suitable for scraping the skin side of a fur such as a mink fur or fox fur. |
